My name is Abigail Sunga and I have been playing volleyball since I was four years old. I started club in eighth grade and I go to Saint Lucy's Priory High School in Glendora, California.
My main goal for college is to graduate with a bachelor degree in biology.
I work hard on and off the court, and I am a team player. In addition, I take volleyball seriously and get excited for every tournament. I also encourage others and learn from my mistakes. I was and am really determined to be the best I can be both physically and mentally. In the past, before I joined IMUA UVC, my sister and I would pepper outside in front of our house. I also tried jumping as high as I could to reach the ceiling inside my house. I used to watch volleyball highlights, Olympic games, proper mechanics videos, and the "best digs and hits" of volleyball. On the court, I have fast reflexes, good speed, and I strategize. I never want the ball to fall on the floor.
In school, I work hard and have a 4.0. I also received scholar athlete awards all throughout my five years of school.
