Hi, My name is Tayler Dang, I a currently a JSenior at Helix Charter High school in San Diego, CA. I am DS/Libero for our Varsity team as well as a thriving beach player at school and in club. Outside of Highschool, I play beach volleyball for 692 West National Team. I started my volleyball journey in 8th grade playing with Starlings. My freshman year I made the freshman team as starting Libero, and after that, I was invited to play for ECVBA 15-1s. This is where I really started to grow and gain a large interest in playing in college. Although I stopped playing club indoor I went to beach volleyball which is where I really grew the most as a volleyball player, allowing me to make the Varsity team for my Sophmore Year. My strengths lie in serving, passing, and bringing my team up making sure they know I'm always right there behind them. I am currently taking Honors and College Level courses, maintaining a 4.1 GPA.
Being able to bring volleyball to the next level in college has always been a dream and being able to bring that dream to a community that I love is even better. In my future career, I aspire to be a Marine Biologist, answering the unanswered questions about the ocean. In my free time, I enjoy surfing, paddling, and going down to the beach to play some beach volleyball.
