Skylar Darr '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Skylar Darr. I am a 16 year old junior at Vista Murrieta High School, I am a Libero and defensive specialist. I play club volleyball at Temecula viper volleyball and am on Elite 16-1 Mauro. My dream and goal is to major in bio-medical sciences as well as continue to play the game I love In a high level program. I am a natural leader on the court and off the court, im very positive and up lifting. I am known to be a person people like to be around. School is always a main priority even before volleyball, and I believe going through distance learning has taught me a lot about myself, and taught me that I am able to do things on my own even if I am confused if i keep trying I will get it. While distance learning was a struggle to get use to It was a lot easier for me because I adapt well to change, I was able to adapt to my crazy schedule of sitting in front of a computer for multiple hours and then being able to go straight to practice. I currently practice with my team 4-5 times a week and on my own I do an extra private lesson and workout at home. I am very determined and I am willing to work as hard as I need to get to my goals!
