Mia Larson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Mia Larson! It's as simple as can be, I truly love the game of volleyball. I want to continue my volleyball career somewhere where I will grow as an athlete, student, and young woman. I am looking for a place where I can enjoy each practice and game I play. I want a coach and coaching staff that believes in me and are truly great mentors. I believe I am a smart volleyball player, I think very strategically and play with heart every time I hit the court. I take volleyball very seriously and I want my teammates to be people that play that way too. I want to have teammates that inspire me every day and I want to do the same in return, I want to have teammates I can trust and look to for anything. Most importantly I want a school, coaching staff and teammates that offer me an experience of a lifetime. I am a leader on the volleyball court and always try to be. I bring energy, excitement, and intensity to the court. I am a good candidate I'm honest, hard-working, dedicated, and so much more. I am true to who I am and I play volleyball because it's who I am. I can be hard on myself and forget to look for the things that I do well and pick at all the things I need to change. I know that I have great skills as an all-around volleyball player. I have the ability to step into any position a coach needs me to, I adapt well.  When it comes to academics, I am a straight A student and I don't do anything less than my best to succeed. That's why I also need to consider a college that is not only right for me athletically, but also right for me academically. Academics and my success in that arena are very important to me. I want a place where I can find the profession I truly want to pursue. I am extremely excited to see what opportunities arise as I continue my volleyball career!
