Hi my name is Sophia Avery! I was recognized by my local newspaper as top 5 of the top 20 highschool volleyball athlete's in my valley!! One of my goals as a volleyball athlete is to always be a team player even when i’m upset. Its very important for everyone on the court to have a good attitude. I like to control the court and take charge. I tell the hitters where to swing and give them feedback when they need it. I tell the setter that I have their back when they take first ball. These steps are very important and I belive that I succeed in all :)
