Hello, my name is Lauren Gott I am a junior at Serrano High School, in Southern California, where I am a starting Outside Hitter and play all around. We just clinched the title of Undefeated League Champs, and are now in the running for a CIF title. I am 5’10” and have recently started playing, and excelling, at the position of Outside Hitter. This will be my eighth year playing club volleyball, and I am on T-street IE’s 17-1’s team. I also worked hard on Forza 1 North’s one's team for seven years as their starting Libero, and I am grateful to them for what they have taught me both on and off the court.
I am excited to put in the work to get better everyday, whether it is putting in five days a week in the weight room, or getting private lessons on the weekends. I am confident I will continue to progress. I am a huge asset to any team because of my versatility and coachablity and am committed to playing wherever my coaches most need me.
I am a very disciplined and competitive person, and love to improve and be useful wherever I can; this also is reflected through my personal life. I helped my dad remodel our house, by helping him pour a concrete driveway, among other things; however, I also make sure to have time for fun. I enjoy wakeboading, waterskiing, and off-roading in my spare time.
I currently have a 4.0 GPA and am in multiple advanced placement classes. I enjoy the rigor of these classes and I work hard to be successful academically which is shown through my grades. I am proud not only of who I am as a volleyball player, but also of who I am as a hardworking student and kind and empathetic person.
I strive to be the best person I can be and I value integrity above all, in all areas of my life.
