Emily Garten '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Emily Garten and I am a 5'10" Pin Hitter/DS from Southern California. I play at El Dorado High School and A4 Volleyball Club on the 18-Joaco team. I am a four year varsity starter at El Dorado High School in Southern California, where I broke the ace record last season with a total of 12 aces in a match. In my years of volleyball, I received Second Team All League, Scholar Athlete Award, and Best All Around Player my freshman year of high school. I also received First Team All League, Scholar Athlete Award, and MVP my junior year of high school. In 2019, I received the AAU All Star Award and finished 3rd at AAUs. Also in 2019, I was invited to be a part of the USA High Performance Training Camp. I believe my biggest asset is that I am a team player who is enthusiastic, competitive, and driven to reach the best I can be while still staying focused in the classroom
