2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Hi, My name is Makayla Paluska and I am 16 years old and I have been playing Volleyball since 7th grade. I played mostly all positions but outside hitter and setter was really difficult for me, I am willing to push myself harder for those positions. I am very good at serving, working on Jump serves. I am also good at passing to the setter from high balls to low balls. I know my lines very well and am willing to teach others how to learn them as well. I know many defense and offense pretty well. I am a good candidate for your team because I am very good at working with my peers and team. What makes me different from others is that I will push myself to hardest level, I like being competitive in serve receive and games. Academically, I am a 4.0 student since the 9th grade, I do Upward Bound. I do focus on my work and sports than anything else. I am a good choice for your team.

- ActivitiesI am in a youth group called FNL. It is about Drugs and Alcohol , we support the people that used and try to get sober. We also learn about different types of drugs that could kill you or make you really sick. I am Upward Bound. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree.
