Jylen Whitten '19 Recruiting Profile

I have played sports all my life. The experience of starting at such a young age has, and continues to put me at a competitive advantage mentally and physically. Mentally, I'm calm under pressure, allowing me to perform consistently under stressful situations. Physically, I've learned how to keep my body in peak condition and healthy through demanding workouts. Currently, I run track for my school and I play volleyball for school and club. My goals after high school are to attend a D1 college on a volleyball scholarship and play all 4 years. There, I want to study forensics so I can become a crime scene investigator. I am very competitive, a hard worker, and I'm a team player. I work hard in school also and am able to maintain good grades while balencing school and sports.
