My name is Jennifer Martinez and I play as an outside hitter for John Henry High School. My dream is to play volleyball at the next level at a D2 or D3 level after I graduate in 2025. I’m what you would call a work-student athlete. I’m a student who maintains good grades such as As and Bs in school, I’m an athlete who puts lots of determination and dedication into my sport, and I also work a quarter-time job as many days as possible. Pressure and staying busy have always motivated me to keep going and give up on what I want. On and off the court I can be supportive and can communicate with my teammates and others.
