Kaylin Crewse '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was in fifth grade. I have loved the sport since I first stepped on the court. I never even viewed playing in college as an attainable goal until my sophomore year in high school once I started getting noticed by other teams' coaches and receiving awards such as all-league defensive MVP and all-league Athlete of the year. I am great at communication on the court and I always am an uplifting teammate. I have strong defensive skills as well as a high volleyball IQ. I am a very coachable player and will always be the first to demonstrate a new drill or help out a teammate. I aspire to be the hardest-working player on the court and the hardest-working player you could find.

I am a very competitive, social, and ambitious individual and have been top of my class my entire life. I work very hard inside and outside the classroom and take every AP class that is available to me. I also volunteer many hours in my school's elementary summer school program and any other volunteer work I can get my hands on. I have also arranged my school's first of many junior high and elementary school volleyball camps as a fundraiser to build the program. Throughout my junior high and high school years I also played basketball, softball, and soccer, which only adds to my overall athleticism and ability to function in a team setting with many different coaching styles.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself both inside the classroom and on the court. My goal is to play at the highest level of competition I can. I hope to be a great role model to my siblings as well as my peers and to make my family proud.
