I've been moving place to place my whole life. One thing that helped me make new friends, meet new people and gave me a purpose is volleyball. Volleyball has given me many opportunities and I am very thankful. I moved to the United States when I was in 5th grade. When we had a free period in PE everyone would go play with their friends or sit and talk but I would go grab the only volleyball in my gym and just pass with the wall which made me so happy. My mom also played volleyball in Mongolia and that was one of the reasons that pushed me to play also. Four years of playing volleyball have taught me so much. Volleyball taught me patience, sacrifice and most importantly hard work. I never had a lot of time to hang out with friends because I’m either doing homework, studying or playing volleyball. But I never regret any of it because I love playing volleyball and I would do anything to get on the court and play. When I graduate high school my goal is to play for a great university or college and mostly do it for myself and my family because they’ve been through it all and supported me since the beginning. I would be great for your school because I’m a good listener and I love to help people especially on the court if they are feeling down or stressed I’m good at encouraging people.
