My ultimate goal is to attend and play volleyball for a University that offers me the opportunity to play at a high level while earning my degree. Finding the right fit is very important to me and I would consider relocating for the right school and volleyball program.
I have always know that I want to pursue a career in the medical field, while attending a National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine at the University of North Carolina last summer I was introduced to the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics, I am very excited about this field of study, I think it would be amazing and rewarding to be able to help people gain back their independence.
Volleyball is my passion, I am a team player who enjoys working hard and being pushed to improve my skills. I want to be on the court contributing and making a difference doing whatever it takes to help my team be successful. I enjoy playing at a very competitive level and it would be a dream come true to continue playing throughout my college career.
As much as I love volleyball, I realize that my academic success is just as important as volleyball. I have been working very hard in school and I pride myself on my 4.209 GPA and being #2 in my class at the end of my Junior year. I will continue to take as many Honors and AP classes as possible my Senior year doing my best to graduate at the top of my class.
Growing up in a small rural area in Northern California has given me the opportunity to be very involved in my community and it has also given me many opportunities to improve my leadership skills. My Junior year I was elected as the Future Farmers of America Chapter Secretary and for my Senior year I have been elected as the Vice President of my Future Farmers of America Chapter. I am also very involved in Circle of Friends, a group of students who help and interact with special needs students at our school. Both of these opportunities have been amazing and I would like to continue to be involved in my school and community when I get to college.
Thank you for taking your time to look at my recruiting profile and to learn more about me. I am excited for Nationals and I would like to be committed to a school by this fall.
