Sarai Clayton-Ward '20 Recruiting Profile

Sarai began playing Varsity volleyball as a sophomore and proceeded to become captain of the team as a Junior. Her height and footwork on the court allowed us to position her as a Middle Attacker/ Blocker. Sarai is capable of playing different positions but we found strength in her ability to follow the ball and time her blocks which were essential in our season against the top schools in our division. Her blocking and Back row Attacks improved within a couple of weeks of her second season. She has a positive percentage of blocks and hits per game. We suggest that she continue practicing setting and digs as it will add to her volleyball skills and further elevate her experience on the court. The Academic Athletic Association from SAN FRANCISCO VARSITY GIRLS VOLLEYBALL ALL-CITY 2018-19 awarded Sarai with an Honorable mention in Division 2.
