My goal as a student athlete and person is to be the best version of myself. When I notice things about myself that could use improvement, I strive to perfect them. I am not afraid of hearing about my weaknesses, and I often ask my coaches what I need to fix about my skills. I love getting to know my teammates because I think it makes a big difference when I play with them. The team's level of communication and trust in each other is so much greater when we are comfortable with each other. One quality that sets me apart from others is my optimism. If I mess up, I shake it off and move on to the next play. If my teammate messes up, I make sure to lift them up and make them forget about it. If a play or a call gets to me, I do not let my teammates think I am upset because mood and positive/negative energy plays such a huge role in a team and the game.
