Catherine Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, I think it is always important to do your best and be ready to learn from good and bad. Growing up I've been told that the grade, trophy, or other rewards don't matter. The greatest reward is knowing you put in your best effort. That's what I strive to do now, in college, and after I graduate. 

I am excited about college! I'm most interested in majoring in sociology, education, or religious studies. I have a GPA of 3.6 or so. I might not have a 4.0+ but I still work hard and am committed to trying my hardest and asking for help when I am struggling . 

I am a middle blocker, but I've also played opposite/right-side and practiced outside. Volleyball gives me a second family and a place where I feel like I belong. I'm excited to continue learning and growing as a player and really reach my full potential.
