I’m Mia Paculan, a 2024 varsity libero from Thousand Oaks High School and current defensive specialist at Moorpark College. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade and quickly realized my passion for the game. My dedication, hard work and learning experiences have allowed me to continuously improve. One of the main things that makes me stand out is my hustle. I am coachable, tenacious and lead by example. I will not let a ball drop without giving it my all, the play is not over until the ball hits the ground.
I enjoy sharing my passion by teaching younger players, such as elementary through high schoolers, how to play volleyball. I have been complimented on my ability to relate to the younger players and help them improve.
I take pride in the hard work I put in both on and off the court. My leadership and communications skills have earned me the spots of high school team captain since my junior year and starting libero since my freshman year. I have a 4.0 GPA and looking to further my education as well as play volleyball at a higher collegiate level.
