I have been playing volleyball for 8 years, most of which playing at LAVA. I attend Thousand Oaks High School where I have been on varsity since freshman year, this year as a captain. We were able to make it to the CIF playoffs and win first round. Regarding Club this season my team is extremely competitive aiming to place highly both regionally and nationally.
In the classroom, I maintain a 4.7 weighted GPA and a 4.0 unweighted. I have been able to conduct choice research through The Center for Advanced Studies, in which I have established my interest in neuroscience. This year I am continuing my research on the relationship between childhood trauma and neurodegeneration within the hippocampus. I am very focused on the field of neuroscience and hope to continue studying it in college.
