I came late to what is known as volleyball but I knew as soon as I began to play that I did not want to stop. This was something I wanted to pursue. I wanted to improve and so I put in the effort and time and slowly began to see improvement. One day I was outside the gym of my high school where I saw girls passing a ball and peppering. I was very interested and that was the beginning of it all. From that day I decided this was my sport, the sport I felt I belonged with, the sport that I love. From starting at a park my sophomore year to playing with my high school team to now joining a club team. I have seen major improvement from where I first began and I want to continue to practice and play and improve as there’s always something to improve on. When I play volleyball I get such a rush of emotions and it is something that I constantly wanna be doing wherever I go that is something that I love doing and it never bores me. I have managed to put my effort and time into this beloved sport but I have not neglected my academics either. I have managed to maintain straight A’s through it all. I am a fighter and I do not give up easily and so I will try my best and give my all to something I put my attention to, in this case volleyball.
