I came late to what is known as volleyball but I knew from as soon as I began to play that I did not want to stop. From the day I saw a few girls playing volleyball outside the gym to I knew that was something I wanted to learn to do. I felt that this was my sport, the sport I belonged with, the sport I love. This was something I wanted to pursue. I wanted to improve and get on the court and so I put in time and effort and began to see improvement. From playing at a park my freshman year, to making my high school team, to now a club team. I am constantly wanting to improve as I know there is always going to be something I can improve on. I am eager to get on the court which makes me competitive and makes me fight for my spot. I do not give up easily and always give my all to something I am dedicated to, in this case volleyball. Volleyball for me is both competitive and fun and so it never bores me. I have managed to put my effort and time into this beloved sport and I have not neglected my academic life. I have maintained straight A's through it all. When I start something, I always try my best and never give up.
