Personal Statement

My motto is "there's always a way".  I am one of the most determined athletes and students you will meet this year. I love to accomplish the goals I set, try new things, and contribute my skills to something bigger than myself. I'm committed to succeeding academically and athletically.

Playing college volleyball is my ultimate athletic goal and I know I will be an asset to the team I play for. In addition to my skills at the net, I bring motivation, support, energy, and loyalty. I believe those are the elements that make successful teams of all kinds. I'm a player who is constantly looking for ways to improve. I work hard not only for myself, but for my teammates, because I know that they count on me to push them and make them work to their fullest potential.

I am part of a family of entrepreneurs and I have learned that failure is as important as success. I have seen my parents go through both and know that the lessons are important. That has helped me in school and sports because I know I will learn from the moments where I'm not doing my best and it will help me improve for future opportunities.

I also come from a family of athletes. My Dad is 6'8" and was a swimmer and water polo player in college. My mom is 6' tall and played basketball at the University of Colorado. My twin brother is 6'7" and has the goal to play basketball in college. We love to be active and have picked the sports that bring us happiness.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
