Since I started playing volleyball, it has been a goal to be able to compete at the collegiate level. I found a true passion in playing volleyball. I constantly work hard to improve my skills and am self-disciplined. During the off-season, I am constantly working out, weight-lifting, and conditioning to be better than I was in the previous seasons. As an athlete, I am more of a quiet competitor, but I am working to improve on vocalizing more. I have many strengths both mentally and physically and believe it is important to be strong in both fields. As a student, I am a high academic achiever and will always put my all into my school work. I am also very organized and do not like to procrastinate when it comes to studying. I believe that sports are a good outlet for many things, but academics should take priority. My strengths in academics include advanced critical thinking and English, specifically writing. My main goal as a student-athlete is to use my academic skills as an advantage to get recruited to play at a good school, and hopefully, it will happen in the future.
