My aspirations for college are to become successful in my field of choice, and to excel in both academics and athletics. I feel that I would be a great candidate for teams because I don't give up on myself, or others. I push through the pain and am willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. In character, I feel like not a lot of student-athletes keep on top of their work as well as they should, leaving them behind while I don't procrastinate or make excuses. In athletics, I've been told that I am "amazing" or "great" for my age, but I don't pay attention to that. I don't hold myself above others, and I stay humble and true to who I am, on and off the court. Academics can be a struggle sometimes, but I always find a way to keep my grades up. I'm not afraid to ask for help, or admit that I don't know what I'm doing. I think that the things I've listed show a few of the things that I am proud of, whether it be on the court, or not.
The highlight of my career so far was being able to experience the Colorado State Championships with my high school team my freshman year. We finished first, and by the end of the season, our team was ranked 11th in the nation. Being able to be in a high pressure situation and experiencing the chaos of the tournament allowed me to grow in my ability to adapt and taught me to be a good team player and be able to trust my team mates.
