I am interested in going to college to study Veterinary Technology. I want to play collegiate volleyball because I still have a passion for the sport and I know that I still have a ton of room to grow. Not only will this help me in that area but also to assist with the financial side of college as well. I grew up on my family's ranch in northeastern Colorado where I have been involved in 4-H showing cattle and sheep along with other livestock species as well as general household projects. I am a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church where I sing in the choir and am a lector. I am involved in my school's FFA chapter and music department as well as being on the girls volleyball and basketball teams. I have played volleyball and basketball since grade school. I have played club seasons in both sports since the sixth grade. I have been playing the violin since the fifth grade and recently participated in our drama department's production of the Wizard of Oz as a pit member. I have received my academic letter and have been on the honor roll numerous times. I take several honors classes and am in the Gifted and Talented program for literature since elementary school. I consider myself a good team member and have been told I am extremely coachable and easy to get a long with. I was voted "Miss Congeniality" on my club team and am positive and upbeat. This season, I am also the captain of my varsity team.
