Hi my name is Evelyn Hodges and I am a volleyball player at Fountain Fort Carson High School.
My goal is to go to a college that offers opportunities in art, photography, and business, because I want to pursue a career in marketing, sales management or commercial photography.
A few things that make me a good candidate for your volleyball team are that I acclimate well in new teams, take criticism as ways of improving my own methods, and always push myself to do better even in the most stressful of situations. I am a very caring person for not only my family but the new people I meet. I believe that a team is not a team without mutual respect for each other and that it is our own responsibility to hold each other to that. I am pursuing volleyball as a middle, outside, and right side hitter. I also used to specialize in DS.
While doing sports after school, I have found the time to volunteer at the humane society every year since I was 12 for their annual fundraising event. I believe that you are a student before you are an athlete, that grades come first but your team is just as important. With this philosophy in mind I have kept my grades at all A's and B's with a 4.46 GPA average, with a rank of 7th out of 465 students in my class.
Looking forward to speaking with you!
