When I was younger I always thought that once you became an athlete in high school you were basically led to the path of high level college sports. As I grew older I realized that those wishing to make it to the competitive level of college athletics had to work and want as hard as one possibly could.
Growing up in Puerto Rico, volleyball has always been a part of my life. Since the age of six, my aspiration in life has been to challenge myself through volleyball; striving to become both a high achieving student and teammate. I have always been told that my attitude and willingness to better myself, as well as my team, is what makes me such a strong athlete. Being so driven, I have always worked my hardest to achieve both athletic and academic goals. My dream as a volleyball player is to compete at the highest level, while also challenging myself academically. My grades and progress as an athlete reflect the intensity and eagerness that push me to accomplish such goals.
I hold myself to a very high standard as a student athlete, so I am looking for a school that will challenge me to accomplish all that I can, to the best of my abilities.
