Volleyball is my favorite sport for so many reasons. There's something about it, a uniqueness that can't be applied to any other sport or activity I've ever encountered. One thing I love about playing volleyball is that no matter the outcome of the play, whether it's a really strong hit or a shanked pass, my team will support me and build up my confidence for the next play. Another unique aspect about volleyball is its sense of teamwork. I've never come across a sport that relies so much on the entire team. You really can't have any success in the game unless everyone works together. That's why I've devoted myself to becoming the best teammate I can be. I will celebrate for my libero for making a great dig, and try to cheer up a middle who's hit the ball into the net. I will have a good attitude and try my best to never get down on myself, even though sometimes it's really hard not to. I will always play my hardest, no matter who's on the other side of the net.
However, volleyball isn't the only thing that matters to me. Academics are very important and I think I belong at a school where I can play the sport I love and continue pursuing a good education.
