Ariana Rajaee '19 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, I am looking for a school that will allow me to pursue a strong education in Political Science as well as provide a competitive atmosphere for my volleyball career. As a player on the court, I often lead by example and I am always there to pick my teammates up. Coming into freshman year, I had never played volleyball. I was fortunate enough to be apart of one of the best volleyball programs in the state. The level of competition, as well as the coaching, allowed me to grow as an individual in the program. The following year, our team won the Connecticut Class L State Championship. That experience showed me what it was like to put so much effort and concentration into one activity and be rewarded afterwards. My goal moving forward is to continue to push myself both academically and athletically. I believe that in order for a team to be successful, everyone must have a hard working attitude and I know I can provide that for your team.
