Kendall Ferreira '24 Recruiting Profile

After becoming a 1st degree black belt in 2016 I realized it was not my passion and wanted to try something new. I decided to try out volleyball at our local Boys & Girls Club and really enjoyed the game. My 3 years in middle school and club volleyball have taught me a lot, not only about the game, but about sportsmanship, teamwork and independence. After each season, I realize how much I love being part of a team that works together and grows together. I've learned how to be a leader on and off the court and, if given the opportunity, would like to teach what I've learned to others. 

Even though I haven't decided what I want to go to college for yet, I know I want to play volleyball at the collegiate level and help my team grow. I know academics are a top priority and I always give 100% to my classes. I strive to be a well rounded student and athlete. I know with the right coaching and guidance, I can advance my skills and be the best player I can be.
