Kayla Pierre '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kayla Pierre, I am 17 years old and I've been playing Volleyball since I was 10 years old I am now a rising senior , C/O 2022. I joined the sport because I've always been in different sports since I was able to walk. At first Volleyball wasn't my primary sport but I still had love for the game. My primary sport was Lacrosse but after joining my Highschool volleyball team, I realized that I had a passion for being on the court playing volleyball more than what I have known.  After playing for 5 years I decided that I was ready to join a Club team and now have been on my Club team for 2 years. Although I wasn't able to have my junior volleyball school season, I still did workouts with my friends and prepared for my club season. I want to further my volleyball career in college because it is truly my escape and how I am able to cope with dealing with day to day struggles.
