Grace Morton '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Morton. I am now attending Caravel Academy as a Junior, graduating in spring of 2018.  I have played Varsity since 10th grade.  This season I am the Libero and a team captain.  I am going to keep pushing myself to my full potential academically and athletically. When I go to college I want to major in accounting and minor in sports management. I can't wait to play volleyball in college. When I go to college I want to make sure that it would be a good fit for me, that it 'feels right'.  I want the academic program to be hands-on and preparing its graduates for the workforce.  I  want to find a school with a volleyball team that I can contribute to and that is seeking to be competitive Nationally.   On the court I am determined during every point. I put everything I have onto the court so that the ball never touches the ground. Sometimes the outcome is not what I wanted and/or expected but I shake it off and get ready for the next play.  My school team always reaches the post season and next season I am determined that we will advance farther than ever.  My club team played in AAU Nationals in 2016, going 6 - 3.  I really enjoyed playing at such a high level against strong teams and can't wait to return this season.
