Jessica Crawford '19 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Jessica Crawford and I am a left side player as well as a setter. I have loved playing volleyball since I first stepped out on the court, and give 110% in every practice, game, and scrimmage. I have experience in all positions on the court and am willing to play anywhere I am needed. I alternate between a jump float and a jump topspin serve depending on the opponents line up or weaknesses. I lead my club team serving above 90% in almost every tournament, and I'm consistently a top server on my high school team.

    In school and on the court I always strive to better myself and others, whether through maintaining a 4.0 GPA, working with my coach to improve my skills, or volunteering in my school and community.  Because of my long experience in volleyball, I have great court sense. I'm always looking for open spots and holes on the other side of the court, as well as looking at my team to see where we can improve. 

    It has always been a dream of mine to play volleyball at the collegiate level, and be a role model for younger players like so many other players have been for me. I hope to find a school where I can challenge myself and reach my full potential, both academically and athletically.
