My name is Aimee Abad and my goal is to become a college athlete. I wasn’t interested in sports until my older sister played volleyball so, my mom decided to put me in at an afterschool club that she signed me up for at the age of 9. I am so glad she did! I currently attend at Appoquinimink High School, making business and visual arts as my pathway. I was a starting DS freshman for my high school varsity volleyball team (2021-2022). Sophomore year I got the opportunity to become the starting libero the next year.
I enroll in camps/combines to sharpen my defense position, making use of the summer and the break from school. This aids in my preparation for upcoming club tournaments & the next high school season in the fall.
My goals and aspirations are to stay devoted and hard working when it comes to volleyball and academics. Being in a volleyball team for the past 8 years has helped me learn the true meaning of being a passionate, hardworking, and a devoted teammate.
