My name is Daphne Pineda and i’m currently a junior attending Cornerstone Charter Academy. Playing volleyball has always been a passion of mine and to go to college and continue playing volleyball in college has always been a dream of mine. I’m very committed when it comes to my academics and athletics I’ve always managed to keep my grades up and do good in school. Throughout my several years of playing volleyball i learned to never give up, when i started playing I wasn’t exactly a star athlete but having a strong mindset and pushing myself to continue doing the best I can really helped me to get where I am now. When i began high school freshman year it felt like a whole new world was introduced to me I was very eager to start my high school experience not only academically but athletically. I started to try new sports and began to become good at them, being a 3 sport athlete committed to my academics will be a great candidate for your program.
