Emma Laade '22 Recruiting Profile

It has been my goal to play Volleyball in College for several years now.  I am looking forward to the College experience and having the opportunity to experience and receive a higher level of education in order to achieve my professional goals in life.  I also want the opportunity to be able to keep myself in top shape and be able to play a sport that is truly wonderful.  I also want to inspire other young girls to play volleyball and teach them, that they can achieve anything they set their mind to. I have been playing volleyball since I was around 9 years of age.  I have been on my high school's Varsity Volleyball Team since I was in 7th grade as a 12 year old.  I have also been playing Beach Volleyball now for over 4 years as well.  Playing volleyball and other team sports has taught me to be extremely disciplined in many areas of my life and it has kept me focused athletically, academically, and spiritually.  When I am not playing volleyball I am studying, serving as an Altar girl in my Church, playing with my dogs, teaching young girls how to play volleyball,  or hanging out at the beach with my friends.  I enjoy the balance that volleyball has brought to my life and the time it has allowed me to spend with my family.  I hope to be able to play this sport for many years to come.
