Hello and thank you for taking time to look at my profile. My name is Tabitha, I'm 17 and play both indoor and beach volleyball. Additionally, I am in musical theater. In the second grade my gym coach gave me a flyer for a volleyball camp. It soon became a love of mine. I was so excited (and honored) in 2018 to be selected to attend the USA Volleyball Indoor High Performance National Training Program. I have also been able to attend in 2019 and virtually in 2020. My goal is to play at the college level. I am also a Certified USAV Provisional Referee, so when I'm not playing, I'm officiating.
I have been a Team Captain for Relay for Life and worked as a committee chair for the Kids Walk at the Relay in my hometown. Unfortunately, Covid sidelined these activities. I found this volunteer work to be rewarding and I enjoyed working with the kids. I am now part of my school's Pit Crew (Peers Partnering in Learning). I am again working with younger students to stay on task and help them understand topics they may find challenging. My goal academically for high school is to finish strong and plan to study Communications plus minor in Drama Theatre Arts and Stagecraft. I love to write and work with people to create things. I know my athletic talent and my love of learning will be an asset to your volleyball program and institution!
Thank you again for your time.
