Amanda Gross '17 Recruiting Profile

I plan on trying many things in college but what I'm looking forward to is  major in Communications for presenting media to a public, and then a minor in English or Philosophy.  When I'm older I want to become a teacher for young students. I have been playing volleyball since I was just eleven years old and through out this time period I've learned a lot about myself mentally, spiritually, and physically. I prove that I am a great teammate by sticking up for all on the team and having endless strength without giving up. I believe that if given enough effort and heart, a team as one can overcome any obstacle. I myself, go into every game with an attitude of a humble athlete who will stop at nothing to win. I show my coaches and fellow athletes that playing with a fire inside and pushing through what is expected can lead to great things. I do everything in my young athletic life with pure passion and day by day I'm excited to see where it takes me.
