Volleyball has completely taken over my life. Everyday, I work hard to achieve the goals I set. I put everything into all my practices and all the plays. I see this sport as a huge commitment that is entirely worth it. It is my passion and it is something that I want to do for the rest of my life. Despite my late start (summer of 2016), the amount of hours that I put into volleyball everyday has given me the boost I need to become experienced as a player and as a teammate. I have developed close relationships with my coaches and with my teammates and this is what has helped us go far and surpass our expectations. One of the main things I always focus on is persistence. To me, giving up is not an option and it has never crossed my mind. I always tell my teammates and myself to not give up on a play or a game, the ones who fight and work the most are always victorious. Because of this, I work so hard and try my best to dedicate as much time to volleyball as possible. Additionally, I strive to keep my grades high. I try my best to improve in school and volleyball at the same time. I will continue to put time into both academics and volleyball everyday of my life so that I can achieve my goals. I want to successfully play at a high level of volleyball and play with the pros someday. At the same time, I want to be able to attend a college in which I can pursue a career of my choice. I am looking forward grow as a player and a person. This sport has consumed my life and I cannot wait to continue dedicating time and effort into my lifelong dream which will one day become a reality.
