Hi! I am Andrea Holder, I was 9 years old when I started playing volleyball and my interest for this sport was after I watched Misty May playing at the Olympics in 2012. I was so excited that I asked my mother to help me to get into a team so I started playing at the recreation center in the town where I used to live in South Carolina and I moved to play in a club 2 years after.
It was not easy to start because my first club experience was in Florida so I was around new people and a different training but my goal kept myself focus. I feel proud of myself and how much I have been growing and improving day by day.
Some of the qualities that help me to be a good player are my outgoing and positive personality, I do not get frustrated after every mistake I make, I'm focused in my goals, and I work hard. I am committed to my team and myself. I work as if I am part of a team not individually. In conclusion I consider myself a great player and team mate and I am waiting for better opportunities as a volleyball player
