When I was 9 years old I started playing recreational volleyball at one of the local volleyball organizations in Gainesville for fun. It wasn't until I was 11 that I realized I had a passion for playing and didn't like how the girls in rec league didn't take volleyball seriously. Since then I have been on that same club team with the most of the same girls for about 5 years now. To see how all of us have grown as a team and strengthened that team chemistry through out the years is so great but whats better is how our team has become an efficient machine in tournaments. My school team has been going through a few rebuilding years since the seniors two years before left. These challenging seasons taught me a lot of patience and how to get people who don't generally get a long outside of volleyball work well together on the court. I would like to say that I am an encouraging teammate and hard worker on the court and in my academics. I have always wanted to receive my degree from a 4 year university and play volleyball at the collegiate level.
