The reason I play volleyball is that it is so much fun and I love it! I play every practice and game with joy and total effort and always have a smile on my face and encourage my teammates to lift them up with positive energy. My love for the game is so strong that I want to play as long as possible which is why it is my dream to play college volleyball. In practice, I always ask questions to make sure I have the best technique possible and I always put my full effort into each drill to get better every time I play.
I have also been complemented by the coaches (even during tryouts) on my positive attitude, how I am so coachable, and how I am always willing to work harder than the next girl. I started as an OH/DS for each club I played on and always rotate through the entire court not being taken out of the game. I train hard for the front and back row and want to make sure all my skills are an asset for the team and love to serve the important points with the game on the line. As a freshman last year in high school, I started in middle because of my ability to move quickly and block from all angles and areas of the net. Coaches rotated me on the right side some as well to block a hard-hitting OH we played against. I love playing all these positions because they challenge me and help me grow my volleyball IQ. I love volleyball so much and would love to play in college and hope I am the best student-athlete fit for your school and role model to the local girls attending the games! I ended #1 in my class as a freshman last season so I will bring the team average GPA up for sure too.
