My name is Keylany Matos and I attend Atlantic Coast High School in Florida and this year I will be a Senior. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I started playing in Puerto Rico when I was 9 years old. I belonged to the “Volley Club Yaucano” where we played in different tournaments including AAU in Florida EEUU. I also played on the team at the school where I attended.
At the age of 15 we moved to the United States (FL). Where I started attending Atlantic Coast High School in Florida and where I belong to the “Varsity” Volleyball team. I attend OTVA Club Jacksonville FL, my main position is Outside hitter. For 2 consecutive years I was selected in All Gateway Conference Volleyball member (2019 - 2020) & (2020 - 2021) and behind the third.
My goals is to be part of the volleyball team in college and to be able to study the field of criminal investigation (Bachelor of Forensic Sciences). One of the things that makes me a good candidate is that I like to work as a team, I am interested in learning new skills, I am committed, I have a positive attitude, an interest in learning new things, I am a motivator and I am dedicated to sports. I cannot have an opinion of other people because I do not know them yet, but I can say that I am a responsible, honest, respectful person, with visual learning capacity and I follow instructions.
