Jessica Gallagher '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jessica Gallagher and I am a 5’10” outside hitter from Top Select Volleyball Academy.  I am very excited for college and I hope to major in accounting.  I am a very hard worker and I like to think I’m very coach able.  I train 6 days a week and lift two days.  My favorite piece of this sport is passing. I was a setter for 5 years and over that time I have come to believe that passers who attack have more control over the outcome of the game.  I love passing because I enjoy the perfection of making the ball go right where I want it to. Although some people don’t see passing as important as hitting, I love the fact that a great pass usually leads to a kill.  I enjoy the silent victory of knowing I was an important part of that.
