Personal Statement

 My name is Alexa Jarvis, I am 17 years old and have been playing volleyball for 8 going on 9 years. As I begin my final season I have had a lot of time to reflect on how volleyball has shaped me into who I am today. Volleyball over the past 8 years has taught me how to grow and adapt as a person as I learn new skills on and off the court. Building a positive relationship with the game has really pushed me to be my absolute best everywhere regardless of the circumstances/situation. Most importantly volleyball has helped me create some of the best friendships with my teammates that I could never imagine and will remember for the rest of my life.
