Lauryn Jeffries I...Personal Statement
I aspire to study sports medicine and become a coach one day. I love being in a sports environment and helping new or experienced players grow to their full potential. What sets me apart from other recruits is my leadership abilities, my willingness to learn and improve, as well as my 4.0 GPA with all Honors or AP classes. I am a natural leader on the court and see the value in making connections with my teammates that goes past just being on the same team. I’ve been playing volleyball for 6 years and have played club and school volleyball for all of those years. Academics are very important to me, and because of this i’ve learned how to balance my school and volleyball. I am also a recipient of the JVA Ultra Ankle Athleader Award for 2020.
