Alyssa Hieronymus '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals for playing college level volleyball is that I am able to grow more in the sport. I have played volleyball ever since I was little and have grown up loving it with all my heart. I would like to continue to grow in knowledge, playing, and ways to improve myself while playing volleyball. I believe I am a good candidate for a team because I have played on many different volleyball teams over the years and I fit in pretty well. I also was captain for 3 years and I've also worked and helped younger girls learn the sport. I am different from other girls because at one point in my life I lost volleyball. I had knee surgery and torn my ACL and meniscus and couldn't play for that year. It torn me apart knowing I couldn't play with my team, but it inspired me. I started training and getting my strength back and now I am able to play again. As for school, I have won many awards for terrific kid and outstanding student and I am a hard worker. I am not the greatest at testing, but I make sure to try my best at everything I do.
