My name is Danielle (“Dani”) Medina and I a member of the Class of 2022 at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart (“CSSH”) in Miami, Florida. I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade. It is something that I am very passionate about. Continuing to play in college and contributing to a team at the highest possible level is something that I aspire to do. I am disciplined, hard-working, coachable, motivating and love working to improve my game. As a libero/DS, I am a team leader and player who enjoys communicating and encouraging my teammates to play at their absolute best.
Off the court, I am studious and maintain a high GPA while taking all Honors and AP classes in my high school. Starting in 11th grade I will be working towards an International Baccalaureate. Being involved in multiple sports in my lifetime has given me the desire to explore sports-related careers for my future. I also thoroughly enjoy doing service and giving back to my community. I welcome the opportunity to attend a university where I can continue pushing myself both on and off the volleyball court. For me, being an athlete is all about HEART and doing what you LOVE. Thank you for your consideration -
