From a young age, I have always focused on school and sports, and as I’ve grown I’ve learned that it is possible to do both. No one in my family has gone to college, and after seeing my brother fail to follow his dreams, it has pushed me to pursue mine. I've always been a team player, and I've just about played every position, from outside, to right side, to setter, and DS. On and off the court I am a friendly person who enjoys the company of others. If someone is sad or down, I try my best to pick them up and help them with the situation they are in, even if I have barely ever talked to them. Going to college and playing volleyball became a goal that I set when I was very young, but when my grandfather passed away from liver cancer, I promised myself that I would push as hard as I need to so that I can prove to my family the type of student, athlete, and the person I am.
