Milana Harris '23 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced to volleyball when I was 12 years old through my school, Hedrick. I played a combination of soccer, basketball, and track during my 7th and 8th grade year. Out of all the sports I had been exposed to, volleyball immediately lit a spark in me and I knew that I wanted to do it for as long as life would allow me to.

I have played for about 2.5 years in total, but I know it is just the start of my journey. 

As a Junior who is gradating early (now proclaimed Senior), I am excited to continue to grow in the game and as a person!

I have always wanted to be an Athletic Trainer when I was older, and, in lieu of playing for my high school team this year, I have become their manager to get a feel for what it's like and how I'll enjoy it. Now, I play with an elite club team outside of school that I love, and hope to follow that into my college life. I bring confidence and energy to my side of the court, and lead my teammates through my actions and words. 

I want to play the game that I love and leave the court with a hunger for more!
