My short term goal is to lead my volleyball team to a NACA Division 1 National title before I graduate high school. In 2011, our JV squad took home a Division 3 title. In 2012, we, as a Varsity squad, took it up a notch with a Division 2 Championship. Can't wait for 2013! My bigger goal, though, is to play college volleyball. I am looking for a program where I can sweat hard on the court while working towards my degree. Ever since I first set foot on a court, my love for volleyball has grown into a never-ending passion! I strive to be the best at every position and continue with extra training during my free time. Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God." This is my life verse. Whether in a game or practice, I let my faith speak through me with encouragement of my teammates, actions on & off the court, and even the devotions I share with my team. My personal aspiration is to graduate with an Exercise Science Degree with the goal of working in Fitness/Training and even coaching. Throughout high school, I have been focusing on mental, emotional, and physical fitness. For the 2012-2013 school year, I was asked to serve as an assistant teacher for a Total Health class. Last year, this was my favorite class and I completed it with a 98.5% A+.
